Posting rules are company specific.
If you make a change in one company, you will need to export the rule(s) and import into the other(s).
I didn’t make any changes. The company that is showing detail started showing the detail after my upgrade to 2022.2. The other 2 companies went through the same upgrade and are not showing detail. All 3 companies are using Base Standard posting rules at VBD 11.1.
I need to get my summary data back, here is my support ticket with Epicor:
In October of 2023, after our upgrade, the behavior of posting from “Capture COS/Wip Activity” changed, and we did not make the change.
We are aware of the change for the text “Period Posting Process”, and that is not what we are concerned about.
Our system went from summarizing the data for IJ COS and WIP to no summarization. We now have millions of records and the GL for inventory is no longer useful. The setting for the “Book” for “COSAndWIP” is still showing to be set as “Summarize” however.
We have attempted, (In our Pilot environment) to make a new revision, and try again. The behavior persists.
Please advise on how we can get this corrected.
Has anyone encountered this, and got it worked out? I’ve read the thread, and am not finding what I am needing.
I think I missed a step in this KB, testing now.

I have been just running the Inventory/WIP Rec report, but I fear in some situations like calling debuging logs etc they only show in the review journal not the PE log…
