Apologies to the group, I answered this off-line.
The solution was the following I am posting for future searches...
You will need to adjust the format of the label in Crystal.
The basic method to fix this is:
Open the label for edit in Crystal.
Choose File, Printer Setup and select the printer and values for correct
page size.
Right click on the details section (left side of screen).
Choose format section.
Select Details (not Details a, Details b...) on the left side of the window
that opens.
Select Layout Tab on the right side of the same screen.
Edit the values to correctly reflect the size of the label (watch the
"Number of Details" section to get to 1 across by 1 down (not 0 or 2 for
either number).
Verify the database (set location if needed).
Save the label and print a new test label. You should be all set with the
results.

Well, I got the printer back online... and the system is running
again. However, when I print, the printer prints 2 labels... one has
something on it while the other is just blank. Does anyone know how to
make Vantage 8.0 print only one printer? Epicor is no help on this
subject... Their response was that the system is designed to print to
Dot-Matrix and LaserJet Printers. What I saw... they have it default
where the print layout is 8.5x11 sheet of paper. To me, that is crude.
