Yahoo group cannot search

Searching in yahoo groups and mail kinda sucks, it is not reliable and it doesn’t go back forever in the searching of emails.

 

This is why I use gmail for my group subscription, and when I get individual emails for each post, it makes the searching for things much much much more powerful with the search tools built into gmail, along with the grouping of messages together, at least the ones where people don’t go ahead and change the subject line mid-thread in their response, and it makes it a great personal knowledge base.

I get the same issues. I tend to do server+log if I am looking for a string.

Then if you hit return it searches Groups instead of Conversations. Hitting the Search button searches the conversation.

Yahoo is just a mess.

I find myself unable to search in this group for anything more than one word.  For example search on "server" works, but search on "server logs" and it gives me this text "server%20log" in search field and no hits.... anyone else have issues?
