I should have said 10.1B305HF.exe for the 10.1B service pack 3.

Steve,
I was at the 10.0B SP5 level and had applied the sp100b532hf.exe hot fix
and had both 10.0b and 10.1b running concurrently. The fact that each
version of OpenEdge installs in its own directory makes my question how
a hot fix for 10.0b would have any effect on 10.1b. I am not typically a
skeptic but...

Randy,
What I have found out is that OpenEdge hot fix 305 for service pack 3
has
part of the fix for this problem. Support has Security.r that will have
to
go with this that fixes the problem.

Steve,
Interesting that support told you that it was fixed in 305. 305 was
still on Progress OpenEdge 10.0B.
I have not revisited the issue since my failed attempt and would be real
skeptical that it has been resolved.

Randy,
Support has said that this was fixed on 305 hot patch, but I still see
the
problem on my data base. Have you received any more info from them on
this?

For those who may be planning on applying OpenEdge 10.1 SP03 you may
want to consider holding off as there is a known bug. I ended up
reverting back to SP2 as it affected the ability to change menu
security. Support was very helpful in identifying the problem and
providing me with the resolution. The bug involves the Menu Security
control where the group names do not display properly in the UI. The bug
number is SCR 28162 with no defined fix date.
