We are currently in Epicor 9.05.606. For jobs that have sub-assemblies issued to them. Built on another job, moved to inventory, then issued to this job, we are noticing in the WIP report that after we move the parts into inventory... All the costs are moved out of the job, however, the breakdown Labor Subcontract Burden end up in negative values.
For example if the sub-assembly cost $100 to make... $25 for each material labor burden and subcontract. The top level job will have a material cost of $100, then have $50 in labor and burden.
After moving the parts to inventory the WIP report will show the following:
Labor Burden Material Subcontract
To Date Total $50 $50 $100 $0
To Inventory $75 $75 $25 $25
COS $0 $0 $0 $0
WIP -$25 -$25 $75 -$25
Is this normal?
Why does this happen?
