Windows 8 and Epicor 9/Vantage

Epicor 9.05.606 is running just fine on my Windows 8.1 laptop. Installation was completely normal and it worked right out of the gate.

Try this…

Go to the config file and change the AppServerURL to the IP of the server instead of the server name. I had a similar issue in 10. Works!

I recently just got a windows 8.1 laptop and i can not get vantage 8.03.409c to install/run properly on it. Epicor Support told me that Vantage 8/Epicor 9 do not work with Windows 8... has anyone installed Vantage/Epicor 9 on a Windows 8 computer?

Try this…
