I haven't, but that's a great suggestion.

For the problem with McAfee and Outlook Express6 - Did you try installing
McAfee first. We have had similar issues with install sequences, where
Mcafee and other programs don't mix unless we install them in certain order.

Thad,
We just got a couple of XP Pro workstations from Dell last week. A
couple of issues we've had and have not resolved yet are:
1. Installing McAfee causes the user's Outlook Express 6 email to
'disappear'. Uninstalling McAfee causes it to reappear.
2. There are no Postscript drivers for XP Pro yet for our HP 4000 printers.
This affects only one or two users who occasionally print in Postscript.
3. A Crystal Report (POFORM.rpt) which we customized with ODBC had some
hiccups, but got that worked out by installing Crystal 8, saving the .dll's,
then unistalling Crystal 8 on that workstation.
4. One 'senior' user still uses Lotus, and we discovered that Lotus doesn't
have a version for XP Pro yet. It should be available in June sometime
according to CDW.
Most of these issues seem to be related to the 'newness' of XP and I expect
they will be cleared up in due time.

We are getting a batch of computers from Gateway (refresh program)
What I'm wondering is if we should install Windows 2000, or upgrade to XP
Professional.
Any issues with XP, vantage or otherwise? We don't plan on touching XP
Home.
