For this specific case (it will vary), its from a legacy non Epicor environment to Epicor 9 on MS SQL.
However I understand that there are physical books (maybe a PDF?) that are sold - or perhaps someone has that is for the implementation side.
Not the install, but for a brand new installation.

A guide/checklist would be perfect for ensuring 100% setup for all considerations - I.E. Company config, etc....

Epicor and their direct consultants are pretty stingy about giving that information out. Unfortunately I can only refer you to Epicor Tech support. I ran a progress update so have no insight on the SQL side other than make sure you have enough hardware/RAM.

As for the conversion process it is typically done with Service Connect, and now, more recently, the DMT. The DMT seems to be the faster of the 2. Both are products that need to be purchased through Epicor.
