Why is it so difficult for Epicor to put the right information in drop down lists

I have requested that EpicCare change the environment drop downs so I can report issues when it pertains to a specific environment.

With the cloud - it is very standard to have

Live (Production)
Pilot
Third (Optional)
Education

I have had issues with all of these environments, but this is what I have for a choice.

The version is correct for Pilot.
No other choices.

For modules - it’s just a guess - At times, just pick AP Invoicing be cause it is the first on the list.

Anyone have suggestions to have the right information in drop downs?

Accept the things you cannot change.

I get all four options in the dropdown. We only actually have instances of Live and Pilot. If you want our Third and Education dropdown options, you can have them!

Well said - with Epicor I have learned this with
“Working as designed” and other issues that go on answered.

After waiting a month - I escalated the case with EpicCare.
The solution was a KB Article

Knowledge Article KB0037305 - Managing Product Profiles and Versions on the EpicCare Portal

Also -
Updating Product Profiles on the EpicCare Portal

You will have to log into to see this article, it does walk through how to rename the environments that you have.

Bruce , you do know you get more bees with honey right? Breathe buddy, breathe, out of all the hills to die on, and all the flaws to point out this one seems kind of minor. Be more like Elsa man… Let it go

let it go GIF

I do a horrible rendition of that if anyone wants to throw up.

Yeah but if dying on that hill resulted in this, totally worth it.
