Why doesn't the Job Tracker Act Qty Scrap match the Job Closing Act Qty Scrap?

Hello,

I have been asked by an employee on why the Job Closing ‘Act Qty Scrap’ is not the same as the Job Tracker tab: Job Deatails->Operations->List ‘Act Qty Scrap’?

So Job Costing looks like it’s read labordtl records while job tracker is displaying the JobOper.ActScrapCosts field. If you compare the 2 fields using help.

I am not understanding what you are saying.

I have pulled the help for both and they both state in description the same thing.
“The sum of LaborDtl ScrapQty for this operation.”

Where did you get JobOPer.ActScrapCosts from?

I was looking under customizations / collection of items displayed and assumed ActScrapQty was a field under JobOper but I don’t see the field in the data dictionary viewer. I guess I would list labor detail records for scrap for your operation just to verify the total. Still not sure of the reason Job Tracker doesn’t show this, maybe an adjustment not showing?

When I came across this, I setup a BPM to calculate and update the dataset’s ActScrapQty.
