An unknown transaction occurred in the material transaction history. When I asked the user, he said that he only made a PO receipt on January 26th. However, on December 30th, an unknown transaction occurred. Of course, if deducted, it is 0, so there is no change in inventory. Why is this happening?
And we are going to use the Earliest Apply Date feature. If the Earliest Apply Date is set to January 1, what happens to the December 30 transaction in this case?
Looks like somebody added a receipt, deleted it and then added it back. From the dates, the receipt was from December and the deletion & re-adding were made in January. If you start using Earliest Apply Date, you won’t have situations like this anymore - if you try to change/delete the receipt, it will throw an error saying the receipt date is before EAD.
When you delete a receipt, Epicor will add a reverse transaction (same as original but with -) with the same date. With that being said, with EAD in place, you won’t be able to change receipts from closed previous periods. Just a thing to consider if you want to start using it.
The person in charge said there was no cancellation. He said that it was only purchased and received on January 26th.
A similar case occurred again. It was just a purchase receipt on January 19th, but the same transaction as above occurred on December 16th.
I found something strange.
The arrival date and the receipt date are different.
When we receive, is the transaction date the arrival date or the receipt date?
