When was the Country table added?

The field was present when we first installed the software in October,
2006 on the then current version of 8.

We are currently running Epicor 9.05.606 on Progress:

I see in the ShipDtl table references to a field called Country and a field CountryNum. I assume the Country field is a legacy field - becasue why would you need both.

Just wondering when the Country table was introduced? Was it version 8? version 9?.

Is there a way to lookup when a table or field was added?

It was in 8, but I don't know of anyway to verify short of checking the
older versions of the software.

To clarify, it was present in 8 but I'm not sure that's when it was
introduced.

And, just to muddy the waters a bit, it's my experience that some programs
use the country number, others the country name. So, if you're ever doing
an update to any tables (example, via DMT), make sure you update both.
