Hello All,
What reports/menus can you use to see what-if impacts on your capacity/load?
We haven’t used what-if enough yet to fully understand all the places we see what-if impacts.
Thanks,

Best place are the scheduling boards and load graphs
And do they update when you are using what-if?
For example, if I have some jobs scheduled and locked and my load is at 40 hours and then I run global scheduling to schedule 20 more jobs in what-if, do the what if hours update the load?
Yes, you need to run scheduling in what-if mode. You can even set up what-if scenarios and save them to run. I have not done it yet, but there is documentation on how to do it.
It would be a what-if load. You could choose to accept the what-if and it would become the new schedule
I got that, I was just trying to understand what tools we have to analyze what-if load so we can make the choice to confirm or adjust the what-if schedule.
You are saying we can use the scheduling boards and load graphs to do this.
I’ll try that out. Thanks @jkane
I believe all of the scheduling tools allow you to review what-if schedules. I find the visual ones the best in my opinion.
That’s great to hear. I didn’t see my what-if schedule popping up on any of the tools so I was probably doing something wrong. Need to test again.
Did you run Global Scheduling in What-If mode?
Yeah.
