Epicor version 9.05.701
It seems that epicor has done an upgrade and now its hard to tell which fields are supposed to be filled in and which cannot, see screenshots below. It seems now all fields are “clear” as opposed to the ones where you can’t fill them in they are usually greyed out.
Can anybody confirm how to set this back?

Maybe just changing the default theme will help?
You maybe in the right area,…i think its OPTIONS/STYLING/RUNTIME STYLER and then press 1 on a specific screen
but then from there i’m lost.
I tried a few things in the TEST database, but none of them got close
Oooooh I just realized this is E9 - eeeek, not sure I’ve never even been in it.
Check your style theme, it may help changing it, but this is how it looks in 702. I will admit, it is difficult to see the ro fields, but they’re ever so slightly grey.
You’d typically see your “old style” when Windows Aero is not enabled on something like Server 2008.

One last question, what is the correct way of saving it and then ensuring it is applied to all users?
Save it out, then import it into Theme Manager from the actions menu.
Check distributable so other users can make use of. Set as default from actions menu if it should be default for other users.
