Version mismatch between server (10.0.700.0) and Database (0.0.0

You need to run the migration / update again. It looks like when you did it the db version didn't stick. I've seen it if you had an error during the migration process.
Alternatively you can set the version on the db by hand if you are sure everything went ok.

We are in Windows Server 2012 & MS SQL Server 2012, and when we check the tables in the migrated MS SQL DB, we can see and query our data without issues.

Has any one experienced a similar problem?

Uninstall Admin console including the files in the c:\program files\common files\Epicor Software Corporation\Admin console

Then reinstall. You might have to redo the migration. I had to do mine 6x until it was there.

Epicor has an SCR and the admin console is going away or changing in 10.1 to something Java based.

There is a table in the database called Ice.ICEVer. I was getting something similar and noticed that this table was empty. I copied the version information from my demo database and it fixed the issue. Seems like after it did the migration it never updated this table.

Probably not the best thing to do, but it got my test server up and running.

Hi Chris,

I am re-running the conversion again, and depending on the results, I will go ahead with your suggestion right after and let you know if has worked for me.

Thanks,

Hi Ted,

Yes. I did check the ice.icever table, and it has 3 records:

ERP 10.0.700.2

ICE    3.0.6.1

Ice     3.0.7.2

Thanks,

Daniel.
