Version 803 403d update?

One major problem with the 407 release (progress) is the Price list
maintenance.

You will find that if you try to access it from the part maintenance screen
the maintenance screen longer pull in the part number when the Price list
maintenance screen open (Works as new design). I have been told that this
new design will be changed back to something like the 406 version on patch
408.

If you try to access price list from part tracker you can not get to any
information. If you use RFQ system in the purchasing module you will find
that when you try to select the line to add the updated information price
list opens with no data. I think the only way to get the part number
entered from there is to manually type the part number. If you try to do a
search you will find that it will not return any data.

Subject: [Vantage] Version 803 403d update?

We have 803 403D on a test server. It has been several months since I
have actually used the software and now I must get back to retraining
and learning. My question is should we update to the latest version
407 or something prior to the latest version. I have had very little
training in version 8. We are still on version 5.1. I will be doing
the elearning and hopefully attending some live classes as well.
Perhaps 407 may not be the most stable but I don't want to learn
something in an older version or release that will be changed in a
later release. Any comments appreciated.

We're on 407 and it's stable for us and we haven't found anything this
release "broke" that worked in earlier releases. And if I remember
right 407 fixed something things that didn't work right in 403d.
