Version 8.03.407 - How is it?

The Issues I have come across in 407 are as follows:

1. Visual Load graph is not accurate

2. Customer Search is slow

3. Inventory Allocation calculations are not correct

4. Importing Supplier Price Lists

5. Must refresh PO after Misc Charge changes

6. Customer Credit Manager Totals are not correct

How do you know that 407a is coming out this week and that 408 is coming
out in March? How can you see a list of what is scheduled to be fixed
in these patches?

We are live on 8.03.407 Progress. No new issues and a few were fixed
since 8.03.405a, but I would wait to upgrade until 407a (due this week)

We went live on it this morning. We have a few tech support tickets
open, pending install of the .407 upgrade. It didn't fix any of our
issues.

We have been live on 407 for ~2weeks now. It fixed quote entry, job entry
and customer shipping pack problems. We have opened one ticket on a
different quote entry issue that we have found but IÂ’m not 100% sure it is
actually a problem but rather a PEBKAC (Problem Exist Between Keyboard And
Chair) issue.

Other than the standard vantage problems like performance and random
disconnects for our VPN users everything seems basically fine.

Here are the issues we have:

Supplier Price lists disappeared. (still able to view through Purchase
advisor on part by part basis)

Jumpy behavior on Sales Order entry, line, revision, list tab -
quantities disappear and reappear intermittently.

Generate New PO suggestions not consistent

MRP hangs

Labor entry - Total hours field does not accumulate labor hours entered.

Still getting an error message when doing a partial receiving on a
purchase order - intermittent.

However, the speed of receiving has improved dramatically.

After we upgraded we had to run conversion 5906 because much of the
demand disappeared from the work bench.
Also if you pull in the demand to create a job but do not finish
creating the job and close out the demand disappears from the work
bench and does not return even though there is demand left.

Receiving partials.

We usually only do Actions, Create Mass Receipts. Then in the mass
receipt screen we will type in the quantity of the parts received.
Commonly we will receive most items on a PO complete with one of the
items being a partial.

Prior to the .407 version, after entering a qty on one line of the mass
receipt entry screen, going to another line took several minutes. This
was also when we intermittently received a null record message and would
get kicked out of the system. There was a significant delay in saving a
record when trying to enter a partial on a detail tab as well.
