Ted,
This helped. You mentioned Admin rights and so did support. I got thinking
about it. We were using a login that had Admin rights to the PC but not an
Admin to the servers. When we login in with an account that is an Admin to
the PC and the servers all went well. Yeah!
Thanks
Nancy

One thing that I have noticed with XP is that, first; you have to do the
installation as someone with administrator rights. Second, you need to run
Vantage once completely under the administrator account. This ensures that
everything is properly registered and usable by all users.
Hope this helps,

I hope everyone else's install are going okay. It's kind of lonely here and
one the list.
My upgrade from 5.0 to 5.2 has gone fairly smooth (I hope), except for a
PC that is running XP professional.
It installs the client okay, but when you try to run it give an error about
"Control-Frame: Splinter1. Class not registered ....." etc.
I have tried reinstalling Progress from the Progress/netsetup and have tried
Progress locally. Neither works.
Anyone else had this problem?
Thanks
