We are using PLM Software called PULSE PLM which we have integrated with Vantage 8.03.305. It is still using the PLM structure from Vantage to import in the new parts, updated Rev, BOM's, Supplier Details etc.
It works pretty well but I'm having an issue at the moment where I have the PLM Process Server running on a continuous mode but it is not updating or adding new parts to Vantage. Looking at all the log files it looks to have worked fine. When I upload the parts directly and not on a schedule it works fine.
Has anybody come across this issue and found a solution?

We, too are implementing the bolt-in "integrated" PLM solution. It's
PRO.File and due to it's need of Service Connect, we've been
unsuccessful thus far with it's implementation. It's far from the
"integrated" solution that Epicor Sales sells.
We are a heavy Engineering company with most manufactured items
engineered-to-order.
I will be delving into this shortly and once I re-link everything and
get it going, I may be able to shed more light on this and help the
group.
I was recently a consultant with Epicor and I never installed this
product nor ever heard of any customer using it. So the lack of
responses to your initial post a couple weeks ago isn't the least bit
surprising.
Good luck.

Subject: [Vantage] Vantage Part Engineering Control ( 8.03.305 )
I posted a question a few weeks ago regarding engineering control and
a bolt-on product called PLM. I didn't receive any replies to this
which is worrying and would suggest that nobody is using this
particular product. We are a UK manufacturing company ( electronics )
and the ability to control information supplied by our customers (
i.e. drawings, bills-of-materials, test procedures etc. ) is of prime
importance to us. Whilst Vantage has the ability to attach documents
to a part, this is rather rudimentary for our requirements and
doesn't provide the controls we need.
For those of you that are in manufacturing, can I ask how you are
controlling your product build documentation ? Are you using third
party products which are nothing to do with Vantage, or do Epicor
provide tools other than PLM which I am not aware of ?
Any help would be most welcome...
Thanks,
