Hi All

Is there a way that you can open a customers web page in a tab/sheet within the Customer Maintenance screen?

It sounds like it should be easy - I thought about making a Dashboard URL view and having it subscribe but I think it is static.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Man you are killing me :-),
I made the video cause I don't have time to write up a whole how to.
Not to be a jerk but if you can't glean how to do it from the video i'd be
weary of implementing something I don't fully understand.
However here is a link to the customization you can download it and import
it into your system.

I've done this in a customization using a standard .NET WebBrowser control:

// create an instance var
private static System.Windows.Forms.WebBrowser _webBrowser;

In "public static void InitializeCustomCode()"

// init the control
_webBrowser = new WebBrowser();
_webBrowser.Size = new Size(1028,600);
_webBrowser.ScrollBarsEnabled = true;

// add it to the sheet's controls collection
Sheet.Controls.Add(_webBrowser);

In an AfterAdapter Method...GetByID MethodName:
_webBrowser.Navigate([Customers Web Site Url]);

Hi

Is anyone able to explain how to do it in baby steps?

I have tried copying Jose's version line by line but I get a load of compile errors ...

Error: CS0708 - line 27 (741) - 'Script.edvCustomer': cannot declare instance members in a static class
 Error: CS0708 - line 32 (746) - 'Script.wbSite': cannot declare instance members in a static class
 Error: CS0708 - line 33 (747) - 'InitializeCustomCode': cannot declare instance members in a static class
 Error: CS0708 - line 50 (764) - 'SetupBrowser': cannot declare instance members in a static class
 Error: CS0708 - line 64 (778) - 'DestroyCustomCode': cannot declare instance members in a static class
 Error: CS0708 - line 80 (794) - 'edvCustomer_EpiViewNotification': cannot declare instance members in a static class

I dont know what I am doing wrong.

When I import Jose's customisation I get errors and it doesnt work.

Thanks,
