Vantage flashes when opening

Long shot but here goes..
I used to have a similar situation where one user had epicor\vantage mapped
to a different drive letter from everyone else. He would stop working so I
would run client setup. Unbeknonwst to me a few people had client setup
shortcuts and when I setup the "different" someone else would stop working
and run client setup themselves. Whether they unchecked "save settings" or
not it then stopped the "different" user. I finally removed all shortcuts
to client setup and set it to be "shared' only by me and admin accounts. I
also fixed the lone user's PC to allow the standard drive letter (V for us)
and the problem has disappeared totally.

I have a user that is on both a Nt and Novel network. I recently in
stalled Vantage 3.0 on his machine through the network drive. About
once a week when he clicks on the Vantage icon to open it the the
vantage splash flashes ans just goes away. I usally just reinstal
vantage by using the the Client setup and that fixes it for about a
week or so. Sometimes when his will work no one elses will they just
flash. I usally just stop and restart the vantege service and that
fixes it. Has anyone else had this problem or a fix for it? If so
please help.
