View your vantage.st file with notepad, where is it pointing?

Looks very odd to me but I have 5.2 and 6 working fine. I copied the 5.2 db
to a new folder c:\copy\epic52\db. I supect it is reading the DB from there.
When I look and the progress explorer tool it is pointing to
c:\epicor\mfgsys60\db\mfgsys60

this will save your menu settings.

I have run up a test DB of version 6 from version 5.2. I'm a little
concerned the DB is reading from the wrong place. My previous version had a
Vanatge.d1 file size of about 1.95gig when I have convert and run version 6
the mfgsys.d1 is only 29.1mb. Is this normally and how did they compress the
data so well?. The program is running fine
The other problem I have is I have to manually add all my custom designed
report back into the menu. Is this normally? Never had to do this in
previous upgrades.
