Good Mornining All!
I am new to Vantage, my company is nearing cut-over to using the
software, and am going through the process of customization the
screens to meet our needs. I had a couple general questions about
what can and can't be done and how in regards to the customization:
1. Can a BAQ be used as a datasource either through the script or
direclty accessible to the form controls? If so, how.
2. Is it possible to add a custom column to an existing UltraGrid
with data that is not from the original data source For example the
datasource for a Ultragrid in Quote Entry (Line->Mfg Detail->Quote
Details->Materials->List) is JobMtl, but I need to display
Part.Character01 there as well, which JobMtl.PartNum references, just
looking for a way I can do this if possible.
3. When using the ProcessCaller, how can I call a particular
Customization, I can only seem to load the base extension.
Any help would be appreciated, I am really pleased with the
customization abilities of Vantage, but am still learning the right
places to grab information and what can and can't be done.
