Vantage and Terminal Server

We have been using Vantage in a Terminal Server (in conjunction with Citrix
MetaFrame) environment for the last 4 years. The only time we had drop off
problems was at one particular facility using a (large West Coast named company
whose name shall not be divulged due to yada, yada, yada) Internet connection.
The carrier denied it was their problem yet like clockwork, all users at that
facility would be dropped if there was no activity in one hour. No other
locations had this problem.

My guess would be that it is carrier related.

All,

I know there have been MANY posts about how Vantage works with Terminal
Server but I want to know how many out there are successful at doing so.
I have a remote location that connects via a PPP using Terminal Server
to log into Vantage. Randomly, some users get disconnected from server
for Vantage but stay connected to the Terminal Server. Almost
consistently, when the remote site tries to process MRP (either Net
Change or Regen) it will disconnect from the Vantage db and stay
connected to the Terminal Server. I have had the carrier come and do
testing on the connection and they 'say' that the connection isn't the
issue.

I can connect via the Terminal Server locally to the database and don't
get disconnected from Vantage. This leads me to think it should be the
connection from the remote location to the server. I just want to check
all other possibilities before I complain again to the carrier. Does
anyone have any suggestions or has anyone experienced this?
