Book: Change Requests
Request no.: 22007MPS
Description / Steps to reproduce:
ASM Part tracker is not accepting the shipment that is being made

Processing a shipment in advanced ship does not reduce part tracker
onhand qty.

ADV Ship 2.80.400
Steps to Duplicate:

Entry
File > New > New Order, Click - ID
Click - Search, Highlight a Customer, Click - OK
File > New > New Line
Select the tab - Lines, Click Part / Rev, Highlight a Part with
onhand qty, Click - OK
Order Quantity: enter a qty, Unit Price: enter a price
File > Save, go to the releases tab and select a location that has
onhand qty.
Right click on the part field and go to part tracker.
Look at the warehouse onhand qty in the location chosen for the
release minimize

Notice the onhand for the part did not decrease in the location you
shipped it from.
Right click and go to part transactions history tracker and notice
the item did ship from that location but it did not reduce its
onhand.
This issue is duplicated on every shipment from stock.
Response From Development :
Temporary workaround DB conversion 6430 will synch up the warehouse
and bin tabs. This will need to run periodically to keep inventory
correct until insite releases a patch that has the fix on it.
ASM hotfix available on our website as of 10/17/06
