Vantage 8.03 - Purchasing - Notification

Is there a way to notify the requestor when creating a purchase order
from purchase order entry? ie: The requestor is notified via
Requisitions.

Is this thought process not included when using PO Entry?
If not, is this a customization where the requestor is recorded on the
PO Releases and when the material is received, use a BPM to send an
email?
