I've looked over the tables in SQL 2005 that relate to quotes and sales
orders in an attempt to find a field that would relate a quote to a
sales order or vice versa, I can't find anything though.

Does such a link/field exist in a table anywhere ?.

On progress (if I remember correctly) there is a quotenum and
quoteline field in the orderdtl table.
