Wow 5.0 to 6.1, you could add to your list:
Review the progress backup and server backup programs/procedures.
Apply server file security to the vantage folder.
Train users on Engineering Work Bench.
Create EWB Groups
Flag Outside Work Centers so they drag and drop properly.
Shop Floor Data Screens change in 5.1, shop employees will need training.
Create your training copies of the database.
Update local schema files. If you still do this.
Copy over any VB script files you have created and test.
Setup Progress Timeout, Mike Podilin's Timeout or Autorpts. If you use.
Finally you will need to review all program changes and features. You may
want screen shots of the company config area and main master file entry
screens, work centers, customers, parts, employees, etc... Just so you can
note new check boxes, fields and features.

Hello again! When I have done Vantage upgrades in the past, I type out the
menu items and structure of the new version in an Excel sheet and print it
out to use as a 'security fillout sheet'. Supervisors just put a check mark
next to the menu items they want given or added to an employees security.
Does anyone already have something like this that I can get?? Another
company that I help out with will be upgrading in aprox a month - from 5.0
to ... 6.1. I'm just trying to get ahead of the game a little. They are
having Epicor come out and do the upgrade. Is there any 'after upgrade
to-do's' that you know of other than updating Report Builder reports,
updating (set
location) Crystal reports, locking down new security menus and loading
