We are a new customer who just purchased 6.1 and are going through
implementation. We didn't purchase Advanced material management. We
are going to be using serialized part numbers and would like to be
have some mobility to receive parts on the floor.
I would like to know how other users have done this without advanced
materials management. A couple of options I can think of are..
Palm Pilots with a scanner head
Tablet or laptop PC's with a keyboard wedge
We are a computer company so I think our technical proficiency is
high. I am not adverse to having a programmer work on this for a
couple of days.
