Vantage 6.1 Installation Question

Ok, Call the men in the white coats. I'm an idiot. Stephen you were right.
The security permissions were ok but the share permissions were not. I
opened them up and I'm able to install to the V:\prowk91d folder.

All seems ok now. I'm able to log in it seems to the default DB. Now to try
and move a copy 6.1 db from a 6.1 test pc to our 6.1 production server that
is still undergoing testing.

We are still on 4.0 for actual production.

Thanks to all for your help. I'm sure there will be more stupid questions to
come on my part.

I'm installing a client, the first time on this new server. Stephen the
permissions are correct, I'm a domain admin so I don't think that would be a
problem. I went with c:\epicor\MfgWk61 and it installed but I still have
problems. I don't have a mfgsys61.vtg file in my mfgsys61 folder. The
vantage shortcut is trying to find it and can't.

One of "real" experts can probably answer this better but I will give it a
shot. Are you installing a client PC or setting up your server? I can't
tell from your message.

The Client PC in 6.1 has a local working directory of c:\epicor\mfgwrk61.
The network drive "V" is the shared location for the Vantage and Progress
files.
