Vantage 407A master pack fiuncitonality

We have a similar problem. We are using Insite, but that is really a
separate issue, as the packing problem in within Vantage/Epicor.

We use a phantom pack, so all boxes are on one packing slip. We tell
the phantom pack screen (hidden in Manifest Info/Tracking Details), the
number of boxes, it allows us to weigh each individually. The problem
with phantom packs is the Vantage does not know what is in each box to
get the correct insurance value for each box. It assumes all boxes have
the same value (total value of packing slip / # of boxes). Phantom
Packs do show up in AR.

Hi! This is a real puzzle. We are using Vantage with AgileShip.

Here's the scenario:
1 Sales Order (all materials going to same address)
3 shipping boxes
If we freight individually, each box costs $20
If we freight as 1 shipment with 3 packages, cost is $50

Current defined process:
1 pack slip in Vantage per box, freighted individually
3 tracking numbers, each with freight charge of $20
Result: VERY unhappy customer

Required process
Either 1 or 3 packing slips in vantage (whatever makes the rest of the process work)
3 tracking numbers from AgileShip, all part of one shipment, freight charge of $50
Result: Happy customer

Problem: Master Pack doesn't have a ship function, so the pack slips never show up to be invoiced.

Epicor has given us a very shady looking work-around process, including staging the master pack, but that unfrieghts the pack slips, and I'm thinking that's going to be a problem for AgileShip, isn't it?
Does anyone use this functionailty at all? If you can, can you tell me how you get around the need to mark shipped so pack slips show up in A/R?

Thanks in advance for any and all help!

We started using master pack in .403 but it was so lame ass broke we
abandoned it altogether. A part of me was always curious if they ever
got it fixed. Eventually I had them close my call (like so many others)
because if I waited for them to fix it...anyways.

Either 1 or 3 packing slips in vantage (whatever makes the rest of the
process work)
3 tracking numbers from AgileShip, all part of one shipment, freight
charge of $50
Result: Happy customer

Problem: Master Pack doesn't have a ship function, so the pack slips
never show up to be invoiced.

Epicor has given us a very shady looking work-around process, including
staging the master pack, but that unfrieghts the pack slips, and I'm
thinking that's going to be a problem for AgileShip, isn't it?
Does anyone use this functionailty at all? If you can, can you tell me
how you get around the need to mark shipped so pack slips show up in
A/R?

Thanks in advance for any and all help!
