Vangage 8.03 Bank Reconciliation

Go to the Transaction Clearing tab and you will find your non-A/P
transactions there to clear.

This is my first attempt at using the Bank Reconciliation feature.

In my mind, I want to compare it to Quicken so I expected to see A/R
bank deposits and all other bank deposits that have been posted to
show as items to clear during the bank reconciliation process.

I do not find deposits to the bank to reconcile.

Does anyone have any information on how to use the Bank Reconciliation
process in reference to reconciling deposits as well as payments? I
have read all the Help information and listened to the e-learning
without success.

Thanks,

Sandra
Sandra,

Normally when doing the Bank Reconciliation, I follow the below steps:

1) Pick Bank ID

2) Create new statement with ending date and balance from the bank
statement

3) New Payroll clearing

4) New A/P clearing

5) New Transaction clearing - which includes all Bank Adjustments
and Deposits

Note: You can enter other reconciling items 'on the fly' as well -
things that you don't have in your G/L but appear on your bank
statement.

Happy reconciling!
