The problem (at least this time) was resolved by un-linking and
re-linking the demand from the job. Epicor says this is fixed in 407.

Check your company configuration.
We had this issue as far back as 405, got the fix routine, that caused
more problems, but in 407a it remained an issue for one of our two
companies. Turns out...If you have the configuration in System
Management, Company Maintenance, Company, Modules, Sales, Order, "Allow
Shipment from any Job" set to unchecked this is an issue, but if you
check the "Allow Shipment..." box it is not an issue (at least in
407a). I believe this alleviated most of the problem in 405a also.
It's also good to know we were not the only company fighting with this
issue as we were initially led to believe.
