V8.03 Dashboard and Memos

Patrick,

Thank you, this is working perfectly. Was not aware that Key1 held the
job number. I thought I dumped all fields of the table into a Crystal
Report just to see what was going where but I must not have.

Thanks

Todd

The problem is the Memo table doesn't store the Job Number as the Job
Number. It stores a value in the Memo Text as "Job Number(xxxxx). Can
anyone assit me in figuring out a way to select the job appropriate
memos to list in the view?

Thanks

Hi Todd,

I would be interested in finding out how to do this too. I tried to
figure it out and ended up using Excel Query to get the data from
Vantage and create the report.

Todd,

I'm still in 6.1 so I don't know if this will help you or not, but I
have the Memo Table linked to the Job Num in an Access application.
The Job Num in the Memo Table is stored in field Key 1.

HTH,

Brian Stenglein

Try this:

for each JobHead Where JobHead.Company = cur-comp no-lock,
each Memo Where Memo.Company = JobHead.Company
and Memo.key1 = JobHead.JobNum
and Memo.RelatedToFile = "JobHead" no-lock
BY JobHead.JobNum:

Yes, I had to use a trim statement to make mine work though.
