If you are using Code39 font I believe it is either $I or $M one or the
other

Subject: [Vantage] V 8.03.305 ERRR....400 Bar Code Scanning in MES

We are trying to effectively use bar code scanners in the MES Interface
to streamline data collection tasks. We are running into problems
getting the scanner to advance to the next field without having to press
the tab key. Can anyone offer advice how to get the cursor to auto
advance after scanning a barcode? I have programmed an ENTER into the
scanner and have tried the option to treat ENTER as TAB but that doesn't
work. I can't find a way to program a TAB into the scanner. Not sure how
to accomplish this. It seems there are some over sights to efficient
scanning in the interface but maybe it is just me not 'getting it'.

Thanks

Todd Hofert
