Using the Implementation Checklist for Testing

I have been using the implementation check list for 15 years for building companies and testing for upgrades.
It’s a built in process in Epicor that has been there since Vantage 8.03

The use case makes it easy to keep track of the status of your build or testing.

Go to the implementation checklist (may need to move it for other user access)

Create a list name
Enter in menu ID’s that you want to run.

Change the status

Here’s the status dashboard that I have used for tracking completion.

Thanks @LarsonSolutions that’s amazing, I never knew it was there until you and @Hally pointed it out.

Not widely promoted or used sadly…As @Mark_Wonsil pointed out being in the database can be problematic if you decide to restore your live dB… Don’t recall being a Dmt either… I feel an Epicor idea hatching… Bad bird flu in Aus Atm so might take a bit to lodge it bahahahhaah

Epicor has said that they will be updating this in Kinetic

@Hally is an Aussie so you’ll have to say “Epicor have said”…

Hi There. I tried to do a test, and then “Run Task” using OMMT3001 as the first menu to test. Immediately ran the Order Entry form to fill out, I did fill and once I clicked on Save it takes several minutes until a timeout error comes up:

What can be the rootcause?

Thank you,
Daniel.

Did you save the task before you ran it?
Typically I will load my test list in before doing any transactions

I have found that some of the process IDs have changed since Vantage 8.03 also
