Using lot auto generate settings for auto receive job receipts to stock

Hello,
We are trying to use the Lot Auto Generate settings from the Part Master settings when auto receiving the parts to inventory on the last operation of a job. However, it continues to use the Job Number as the lot number even though the default setting for Lot Default to Job Number in the Company Config is set to false.

We are on version 10.1.6. I’m hoping I’m doing something wrong. During inventory adjustments, the Next Lot creates the lot number exactly how we need it so the settings are correct.

Hello Tracey,

Honestly, I don’t remember which account that issue was for and I can’t remember how we resolved the issue. We may have written a BPM to create our own lot number or got away from auto receipts.
