Since you are telling it which BAQ to use and you have to create that BAQ, whats the difference between using DMT to run the BAQ or just running the BAQ itself inside of Epicor and then copy/pasting the data into excel?

Control of what you are putting in. If you put a BAQ into a dashboard, you can filter it again. Also, you can format the cells between the BAQ and the DMT when you copy paste. Sometimes you need fields displayed in the BAQ that don’t go into the DMT which causes a problem. But if you can call the BAQ and run the DMT with the results as is, do it! Automate what you can.
