Piggybacking on an earlier post I made about checking in only selected parts in the Engineering Workbench: Is there a way to update the Group ID associated with a part that’s checked out to the Engineering Workbench? For example, say a part is checked out to GroupID “PLM-1”, can an updatable BAQ / Dashboard be used to move that to GroupID “PLM-2”?
I’ve built an updateable BAQ over the ECORev table with the ECORev.GroupID being updateable. I can execute the updateable BAQ, changing the GroupID to “PLM-2” and click Update. The BAQ reports “Query returned 1 row(s). Updatable query action fulfilled and reported no error.”, but the GroupID doesn’t change.
Any ideas?
