Update PartUOM on change of PartsPerContainer

Looking to see if anyone could help me with this. We have a 'part
specific' UOM called CS (Case). I would like to automatically set the
PartUOM.ConvFactor equal to the Part.PartsPerContainer value when
PartUOM.HasBeenUsed is false. Takes a step out of our part creation
process that way. Anyone know how I might go about this? I tried starting
with a BPM I have a feeling that is going to be the best way to go, just
not good enough with BPMs to figure it out.
