When running MRP this weekend, 2/3 of our unfirm jobs did not “schedule”. They scheduled in that there are dates applied against operations (at least on the job header), but the job scheduling board and shop load reports do not show any load.
First time this happened - any ideas out there as to what could have occurred? I can provide snips where necessary - this is what an unfirm job looks like for one of the problematic unfirm jobs.
Additional info - via the MRP logs, the jobs are getting scheduled, and the load is queued for saving, but the improperly scheduled jobs’ load is not actually getting saved.
Are there any new BPMs?
The root cause of this issue was a changed setting - Rough Cut Schedule Horizon. With a value populated, unfirm jobs that were due to be completed (today + this value) days into the future did not generate load across resources when scheduled.
