Looking for some help here with a UOM issue. We have a part we stock as EA, but now buy in a case of 12. Each, (EA) and Case, (CS) are both in a count class called Count Measurements. There is already a conversion in this class that defines one EA equals one CS. Do I need to create a new Count Class for this part? If not, how or where do I change the relationship between EA and CS? What is the best way to handle this? We need a step by step because no one here has been able to decode the UOM/UOM Class setup and use of E10 much beyond the basic setup.
Set UOM to Part Specific, so each part can define its CS or BX in this case.

In Part UOM Tab, set the Operator to Divide and set the Factor to the Case or Box size.

If the CS uom has been used as the 1 to 1, you will have to unset the has been used flag to be able to change.

Greg has the part specific UOM setup covered.
One thing that I have seen done for common quantities is to preset a few of
them. So in your scenario…
CS5 = a case of 5
CS10 = a case of 10
CS20 = a case of 20
These would not be part specific.
