Unable to extend db

You probably need a "multi - extents" database. We ran into the same
problem back on Version 4.0. Vantage support walked us through it and we
had the database split up into multiple files and running again within a few
minutes. Evidently Progress has a 2gb limit on the database size just out
of the box.

My Vantage 5.1 just shut down with the system message "Unable to
extend db within area- schema area 8897. The vantage.db file is just
over 2 gb but the disk has plenty of open space. Is there a
parameter I need to readjust or what? Your HELP is extremely
