Paul:

The only way I know is to adjust all jobs to the sircumstance that you
desire (zero out the cost on two, increase the original) and then ignore the
two jobs.

I did hear a rumor long ago about 'E' possibly enabling some kind of purge
of jobs or parts that are forever dead/obsolete but I am not holding my
breath. Then I'm still at 5.1 so I don't know about future revs.

All,

I have a bit of a problem here;
In Vantage 5.2, a given job is calling for 3 big widgets. Items have been
purchased to the job, and hours have been clocked. After a while, the job
was split into 3 new jobs (1 being the existing jobexisting, and 2 new
brand
ones). As far as we can see, this somehow split out the parts already
purchased, and time already clocked. Since this was not what we wanted,
we
now would like to go back to the original set up, however we can't delete
any jobs because all of them report existing transactions (that were done
on
the pre-split job).

Does anyone know of a way to back out of a split job type of situation?

TIA,

Paul
