Does anyone have documentation on the data within this file? All Epicor can seem to provide me with is the instructions on how to get to the 'relatedtofile' by looking at the primary keys. We have a lot of BAQ's that our accountants used to tie out monthend from how parts posted to the GL to how invoices posted to the GL.
In Vantage, we used sales chart from Invcdtl. EPicor told us to just pull the INVCDTL records in TRANGLC. That works, but they forgot to mention that will also pull COGS and Clearing account Transactions also. (so now we add journal code to the selection criteria). They must have some type of matrix to pull the data I want, but can't seem to tell me what it is.
It's frustrating changing each BAQ/Dashboard and for each transaction type, having to figure out how to actually connect to the file and sort out the data I really need.
Which, right now I have 3 invoices from last month that are marked as 'posted to the GL'.
1 - invoice does not show up anywhere in the GL, the other 2 invoices only posted 1 side of the transaction - therefore my GL's Debits and credits don't match. They have a fixit pgm I need to test for that, but haven't mentioned a 1-off patch/scr.
Any Thoughts?
Thanks,
Pam
