Tracking if the Sales Order Acknowledgement has been sent

Yes, we have APM. Basically, I need to track if the SOA has been sent or not (while we're sending them manually) until Epicor releases 410 which contains fixes that will allow us to auto-print the SOA through a BAM to our APM printer.

We have a need to track if the Sales Order Acknowledgement has been sent (printed through our APM printer) for each order. Ideally a flag would be set on the order header record after the form is printed (either through a BAM that auto-prints, or manually printing the SOA). Does anyone have any ideas on how this would be implemented? Thanks!
I use a BPM in order to determine when the auto print should take place.
In our case, when and order is taken off of hold.

When this happens, the BPM sets a UD checkbox to true and then I have a
BAM that monitors for this change.

The BPM also stores the date and time that the UD checkbox was set to
true.

This gives me an indication of when the auto print job took place but it
does not indicate if the APM job faxed correctly.

Does auto-printing the SOA through a BAM actually work for you? We're on Vantage 8.03.409a and when I tested auto-printing the SOA it showed up in the system monitor with an error stating "no records found". Epicor support stated this is a known bug and will be fixed in their 410 release due out in December '11. Thanks for the input. Your suggestion is pretty much what I want to do if auto-print works.

Do you have any fo the APM functionality? If so, you can use that to send
you an email at the same time the SOA has been sent.
