Is it best practice to keep this enabled for all users? I have not had to use this for anything other than development.
How about MES?

Thanks. I’m wondering if there is a performance hit having this enabled. I’ll try turning it off for a few users.
I second that. I use the trace quite a bit as a developer. Daily users have no need for it. Keep it off unless you need the log data for something in particular. For that matter, be very careful about exactly when you turn the tracer on and off as it collects a LOT of data. For example if you just want to know what method is firing for a specific event, you can turn on the trace logger right before the event is triggered.

Trace logging seems to enable itself each time epicor is launched. I did a quick search in the config file and didnt see anything.
Nevermind it was just for Admin.
