Ronn,
We have been very happy with Elotouch (IntelliTouch). There has never
been a need to "recalibrate". You can use a gloved finger or a pencil
eraser (pencil point, pens or other hard objects will not work). The
work even if they get scratched or dirty. We believe in a combination
of these touch screens and bar-coding for our data collection.

We started with PC's and touch screen monitors then switched to Thin Client/Terminal Services. Cut down on problems by 90%. We use Televideo LCD Thin Clients. Available with wireless connection.
We hung them on the wall, solid state, no keyboards/mouses. Works great.

Touch screens are not all they are cracked up to be. Expensive, screen
surface needs constant cleaning, employees LOVE to play "touch a whole lot
of things at once". Keyboards and Mice may not be as cool but they work
and are cheap to replace.
