I might add, leave the bin out...just run the report on PartWhse. It sums
the bin info for you in the OnHnadQty. Then you just need to sum Warehouse
info per part number.

There isn't a field in Vantage for a TotOnHand. You have to
create one in your report.

If you are using Report Builder, use the aggregate function
to sum up the part number OnHandQty. You also need to use
the Part Number footer band line to place the field so that
it displays the field properly.

I think Crystal Reports uses the same function.

I am attempting to create a very simple query/report that
will show me total on hand inventory for my finished goods.
When I pull the "OnHandQty" field it displays the inventory
that is located in each bin/warehouse however, I am only
interested in the total on hand quantity of all
bins/warehouses. For example if I have 500 pieces in
stock using the "OnHandQty" will display 250 in A1 and 250
in Z1. I am simply looking for the report to display 500
pieces. Can anyone tell me where the "TotOnHand" filed is
located...what table or what other field I should be using?
