Easy question I hope, new to this T&EE here, we collect labor through MES. I noticed it comes in as approved. All good so far, if I have a supervisor recall it to make a labor adjustment, what happens if he/she doesn't submit the record and leaves the status as Entered, not Approved? Something...nothing?

From my own experience, when this happens you end up not being able to close the job. We have an updateable BAQ that Epicor Support provided us that allows us to manually close the stuck labor transaction so that the job can then be closed.

Ahh... never mind, dug a little deeper. I noticed if it's only Entered and not Approved it doesn't show up on the WIP/Rec report, good stuff..

From my own experience, when this happens you end up not being able to close the job. We have an updateable BAQ that Epicor Support provided us that allows us to manually close the stuck labor transaction so that the job can then be closed.

We just ran into this same exact problem today. I called Epicor and they suggested running progress programs 8920 and 8930 to close the records. Unfortunately, these programs only close open, non locked records which is not my situation. We tried an updateable BAQ and that worked like a charm.
